I called on Thursday and stopped in later that day to fix a broken seatbelt. The GM said he could get a new one for about $430 or a used one for $175. Said he would call Friday morning. No call. I called Friday afternoon- no notes or information but who ever answered said he would look into it and call me first thing Saturday. No call. I called Monday and whoever answered said he would call right back. He called and said they found a used seatbelt that would be delivered Tuesday afternoon. Made arrangements to drop my car off. Was told the total repair would take 2 hours. Tuesday at 1:30 I called to change the drop off to Wednesday morning. Arrived at 6:30 Wednesday. Gave my phone number and address. At 10:20 received a call that the seatbelt had just arrived. Meanwhile, I'm missing work. Was also told at this time the repair would cost $750: $220 for labor, the rest for the seatbelt. I asked what happened to the used one and was told that was the price for the used one. I told them not to do any work and I would get ready to leave so their courtesy shuttle could come pick me up. Called at 11:04 to get a ride. Called back at 11:35, was told the driver left 10 minutes prior. He never arrived. I walked the six blocks to the shop in 95 degree heat. When I arrived, the shuttle driver was leaving with another customer. The employee I requested the ride from looked at me and said "Oh, yeah, he drove all over the neighborhood and couldn't find your street." No call. No communication. He just gave up and went back to the shop. The employee at the desk said "I guess Ramuda is different than Remuda." I responded, "Yes, that's why I spelled it for you this morning." He handed me a key and I walked out only to discover they'd given me someone else's key. I went back. They couldn't find my key anywhere. Finally got my key and left. Worst customer service, terrible accountability, lied about the price and never bothered to correct it, left me stranded 5 1/2 hours for no reason, no apologies for the shuttle driver's incompetence. First and last time I will EVER go to Kerry's Car Care. Lost my business for good.
