Mariposa
Having a car, for me, is more of a luxury than necessity. I commute to work on the light rail, live within walking distance of a grocery store, and can ride my bike to the farmer's market. But, it still something that is beneficial for house sitting and when I'm too lazy to carry purchased goods. So, when I was informed of significant oil leaks following my last oil change (at another establishment), it wasn't encouraging news. Kerry's is a few blocks from home, so it made sense to take my car to them. They were terrific! Not only were they able to get me in first thing in a Saturday morning, they had all the parts to repair my leaks. Bit of background: my car is a 2004 I bought new and haven't necessarily followed the prescribed preventative maintenance schedule. But now I'm back up and running! And within the same day as dropping off my car. I wouldn't say this place is expensive, because the alternative to having a car payment far exceeds the cost of repairs. The staff were exceptionally helpful (shout out to Jose!), and even showed me beforehand what repairs were being done under the hood. Any future repairs and maintenance will be handled by these professionals.
