Came to Kerry off a referral and heard some good reviews. I needed to have lights that I installed on my grill connected to a power source just to make sure it was done correctly, nothing special. Especially for mechanics that are knowledgeable about electrical components. But to my surprise, for what couldn’t of been more than 20 minutes of work to connect the lights directly to the fuse box ended up costing me over $100. Turns out they charged me for an hour of labor, and this was at a discounted rate? Not sure I’ll be back. Glad the lights work but ultimately my fault for trusting people too much. Should of shopped around first.

On 4/11/2018, I stopped at Kerry's Car Care on 25175 N. 67th Avenue in Phoenix for what should have been a 30-minute repair. Notes: 1. I have been going to this location for at least a few years. 2. I have had plenty of other bad experiences with this particular shop, including: a. an oil change when the oil couldn’t be seen on the dip stick - they forgot to add enough oil b. a botched brake job and had to come back several times to have it rectified I typically only go there because of convenience; it is less than a mile from my house. On 4/11 and 4/12/2018, after NINE (!) lies and a comedy of errors (e.g., watching 3 mechanics + the Manager wrestle with trying to install a tire on my new wheel) and damage to my truck and wheel (broke the stem), my truck had to remain in their shop overnight. I missed an appt. that evening; I ended up spending over 6 hours on this issue. Ultimately, I had to have another tire shop nearby do the work (which, by the way, took the other store 30 minutes). The Manager of Kerry's (67th Ave. location) told me they don't do tires very often, and that his tire machine was not the latest technology. I asked that Manager, along with another Manager at a different (Kerry's Car Care) store, several times to have the owner (Kerry) call me. A week went buy and I never heard back from Kerry, or anyone else in management. I would never go back to this location. I have had too many bad experiences with this store / location. The Manager of this location is friendly, but in my humble opinion, he is highly unprofessional and dishonest. Based on my experiences, their quoted time frames are unrealistic, their mechanics are inexperienced, etc. I am obviously very frustrated and upset ... .

Keith, thank you for taking the time out of your day to let us know about this. Lack of focus, carelessness and indifference is not what we are known for. We are sorry your experience was not reflective of our reputation. Our leadership is trying to identify why this happened and we will resolve in a way that ensures superior customer experiences now and in the future.

My Story: 3 trips to Kelly’s car care 12 house of wasted time. They lost parts !!! Didn’t tighten Lug nuts. I feel this is very dangerous for my family to use this place for car maintainace. I will never be back nore I will never recommend this place to any one!!! I showed up they said the part (park break cable )was in at 12pm I showed up at 11am and the wrong Part was orderd. I sat and waited untell 530pm, befor they told me they wasted my day. Next they asked me to come back tomorrow. Then two days later I found out that two of my Lug nuts were missing. The mechanic at Kelly’s car care That removed my tires to take my Break Cable off. only tighten down 4 of the 6 lug nuts. One was loose and one was missing. I feel this is is very dangerous and could of caused an accident. His’s job not to forget things. They called me a week later and said the cable was there. They order the wrong park break cable again. I went to OreilIy bought the cable. Then brought it to Kelly’s to get it put on they now had lost my hardwhere and the old cable that they took off. They said they can get all the parts today. I am very concerned about the quality of work done here and think twice befor you bring your family vechicle here!!!

What a find right in my own back yard... I was having issues with my dealer about the amount of money that they wanted to charge me for servicing my car. So I started to look for an independent that was reliable and knowledgeable about my car. Let me say this that they were extremely friendly and very honest; but the main thing I experience was efficiency and knowledge of what my car needed to have done. What they did was a complete diagnostic check on my whole system, for free, yes for free. Then they showed me what needed to be replaced or done. They replaced my transmission fluid, my rear end fluid, my brake fluid, oil changed my cars oil checked my passenger compartment air filter, checked my cars engine air filter. all other fluids and I was done in about 1 and half. they showed me what they were doing every step of the way with new technology and a very clean garage. I was extremely happy with the charges and it was 75% less than what my dealer was going to charge me for this complete service. Let me say this if you are looking for a great group of guys who know their stuff about cars. and you don't want that sticker shock from a dealership servicing your car. Go to Kerry's Car Care they have been around since 1993 and they sure do get my seal of approval.. Great Job, great Car Care at Kerry's

John was very personable and very courteous when I brought my 2002 Infiniti QX4 SUV in for the 100,000 mile iridium plugs and replacement of both valve cover gaskets, which were leaking. The vehicle was ready on time and it runs like a new SUV now! I would highly recommend their services to anyone who wants the job done right...the first time!

The staff is very friendly, and the closest shop to my home. I take both of my BMW and Mazda3 to have their oil changed, tires aligned, and brake fluid flushed (providing my own fluid). And that's about all I trust them with my cars. 1) A while back I needed a coolant flush for my Mazda. The reservoir cap, and manual, specifically say "FL22 ONLY". This spec is only met by a handful of fluids, which none are carried by them. I asked them to give me a quote for a flush with the caveat that I would be providing my own fluid. They said they wouldn't lower the price even if I provided the fluid. Therefore I decided to go with the dealership since the price difference wasn't that great, and the correct fluid was included in the price. 2) Sometime after, my BMW also needed a coolant flush. I asked them if they carried the "blue" coolant thats compatible with BMWs. They told me they only carried the "orange" one that's compatible with most cars (keyword: most). I'm ok with it not carrying the specific fluid, however, they encouraged me to take it in and they "would take good care of me". This is very worry some to me as they know they don't carry the particular fluid, only a "swiss-knife" type fluid. I'm no chemist, but I do understand that every cooling system is different as they contain components of different kinds of alloys and they all react differently to their coolants; you can't expect that because a coolant is compatible with "most" cars, it is going to be compatible with every car. Because of this, I decided to take the it to a german car specialty shop. 3) Recently, I took my BMW for an oil change, the diagnosis of possible engine misfires, and some other minor things. They changed the oil, and that was about it. a) It didn't seem like they diagnosed the engine. They just said to START by changing the spark plugs. b) They didn't do any of the other stuff, and when reminded, they kind of didn't want to. In my opinion, since they didn't get a lot of money from me, it didn't seem like they wanted to spend any more time with my car. c) They also recommended a power steering flush. That's great! Except they recommended their Wynn (Red) package, which is an ATF fluid exchange. My BMW doesn't use ATF in its power steering; the reservoir cap clearly says 'CHF-11S ONLY'. While this was only a recommendation, and may seem benign to most people, an uninformed customer could end up causing damage to his/her vehicle.

We are sorry your experience was not reflective of our reputation. Our staff is aware of your concern and they are looking into ways that similar issues can be avoided in the future.
