Mariposa
My fiancee and I typically go to this Kerry's for our normal car maintenance, and usually they are efficient and do a great job, but my last visit may be my last. A sensor that this Kerry's had already repaired only 2 months prior went bad again. I brought it back in on a Friday morning and didn't get my car back until the next Thursday afternoon. The whole time communication from Kerry's we horrible. Every day I would call them for an update and every day they would tell me "it's almost done we just have to do *blank* and we'll call you in 2 hours to update you." They made promises to communicate with me so I could keep my job updated and every time they ghosted me. I had to call them, often waiting well past the time they told me they would call, and every time they promised again to keep me updated before dropping the ball again. Luckily, I am able to work from home, but this still put a strain on my work relationship and made it difficult for me to get anything done for almost a full week. Every time Kerry's would make a promise and I would tell my manager and every time I had to tell my manager that I still didn't have my car when they let me down. All in all, thought the experience I got the feeling that they weren't really working on my car. The day I got my car back I didn't have to pay for the sensor since it was still under warranty (though I'm starting to think they didn't install right in the first place months ago) which was nice, but then they tried to charge me $150 for spark plugs they put in my car and when I said I wasn't going to pay that much for a job I can do myself they insisted on taking them out and making me wait longer. When I got back in my car, the check engine light that they said was resolved was still on. I changed out the spark plugs myself and the light is still on. The car runs great for now, but neither myself or my fiancee feel like we can trust Kerry's anymore and will probably opt to take our vehicles elsewhere in the future. I'm sure that simple maintenance is something they can do just fine and I've had good experiences with them in the past, but this really shook my confidence in them.
